DENTAL ASSISTANT

Columbus Family Dental is hiring for a full-time dental assistant position. We are seeking a hard-working, motivated team player to join our dental practice. The applicant must possess excellent communication skills and a willingness to deliver a great experience to our patients.

Experience as a dental assistant is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. Ideally the applicant would be x-ray and coronal polish certified, but it is not necessary. The office hours are Monday-Wednesday 8-5, Thursday 8-6, Friday 8-12. No weekends. We offer a competitive wage, paid vacation, paid holidays, and dental for employee and immediate family.

Responsibilities of the dental assistant include assisting the dentist in different types of dental procedures, reviewing patient charts, preparing patients for treatment, setting up the operatory, taking digital x-rays, sterilizing instruments, answering patient questions, assisting the hygienist if needed, and helping in the front office as necessary.
